Profile of Shinnosuke FUJIMA



Shinnosuke FUJIMA, a danser of 'Buyo-, Traditional Japanese Dance (aka. 'Nichi-bu' or 'Nihon-Buyo' .

He had been trained by Kanshino FUJIMA since he was nine years old. He played baseball when he was junior high school student and football at high school. In the year 1994, he was given a name, 'Shinnosuke' by the grand master, Murasaki FUJIMA, who allowed him as a master of Buyo in 1997.

At the age of 16 years old, he was quite interested in the Japanese classical entertainment when he performed his Buyo a the National Theatre in tokyo.

He has been actually challenging to perform with different genre of artist in collaboration works.

He has several training grounds in Ishikawa, Tokyo, Kyoto, Fukushima and Fukui, each prefecture in Japan.

Also, he works as a master for students in the kindergarden and the university in Japan.

小学校三年より藤間勘紫乃師より日本舞踊を学ぶ。中学校では野球選手、高校ではサッカー選手として活躍。平成６年家元・藤間紫師より藤間信乃輔の名をいただき、平成９年師範を許される。１６歳、国立大劇場の出演を機に日本の古典芸能に興味を持つ。現在日本舞踊の古典を中心に様々なジャンルとのコラボレーションに挑戦中。石川県、東京都、京都府、福島県、福井県に稽古場を持つ。また大学、保育園などでも指導にあたっている。
